Hub Lite · restarting the terminal and checks after start-up
What happens after a restart or reboot of the terminal · checking the payment chain and automatic reconciliation of takings.
A restart in Hub Lite means a cold start of the app · typically after rebooting the terminal or switching it off and on. After every such start, Hub Lite verifies that the payment chain is ready and quietly reconciles any takings that did not get recorded.
Checks after start-up
After a new start, a „Checks after start-up“ card appears at the top. It shows only once per session · not every time you switch screens.
- 1Check the state of Mo.one PayAppIf everything is in order you will see „Mo.one PayApp is running and signed in.“ with a green dot. If not, tap „Open PayApp“, sign in there and come back.
- 2Optionally verify SwitchioThe „Verify“ button opens the payment app, where you check the handshake (online and green) and close the app with its „Close App“ button, which brings you back.
- 3Start ringing upAs soon as everything is ready, „Everything is ready, you can start ringing up. Have a good day.“ appears and the card hides itself. You can also close it with the cross.
Automatic reconciliation of takings
When the terminal's system closes the till during payment (the payment app is in the foreground), the payment goes through at the bank, but the entry in the local overview may not be made in time. On the next start, Hub Lite finds those takings itself and adds them to the daily cash-up · with the correct time, so they fall on the right day.
Staff do not have to do anything
Reconciliation runs in the background and is idempotent · it records the same payment exactly once. Even a repeated restart does not create a duplicate entry. So after a restart you confirm nothing, you simply carry on working.
Careful with „Reset the app“
The „Reset the app“ function on the sign-in screen deletes the app's local data. In Hub Lite mode that would start the initial setup all over again. Use it only in agreement with support, when the app is genuinely stuck.
