Assigning an NFC card to a PayPoint
How to connect a Mo.one NFC card · by hand in the form, or by tapping a blank card and choosing „Assign to a paypoint“.
A Mo.one NFC card has a 14-character identifier printed on it in the format XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX (seven pairs of characters separated by dashes). You use this code to pair the card with a PayPoint.
Method 1 · Entering it by hand in the form
When creating or editing a PayPoint you fill in the „NFC card identifier“ field and save. The app converts the code to upper case automatically and checks the format.
Method 2 · Tapping a blank card
- 1Tap a blank cardThe phone reads it and shows a screen with the text „This NFC card is not currently assigned to anything.“ and its identifier.
- 2Tap „Assign to a paypoint“You choose the PayPoint to assign the card to (and the merchant first, if needed).
- 3Confirm a replacement if askedIf the PayPoint already has another card, the app asks: „The paypoint already has another NFC card assigned. Do you want to replace it with this one?“
A card can only be on one PayPoint
If the card is already assigned elsewhere, the app reports „This NFC card is already assigned to another paypoint“. Remove it from the original PayPoint first, or use another card.
