Payment states and what they mean
The life cycle of a transaction from creation to completion and what each state means.
Every payment goes through states. You recognise them by colour on the detail and in the transaction overview.
Awaiting payment
Payment initiated
Processing
Completed successfully
Awaiting paymentThe transaction is created and waiting for the customer to pay. It can only be cancelled in this state.
Payment initiatedThe payment has been initiated and we are waiting for confirmation from the bank.
ProcessingThe transaction is being processed right now.
Completed successfullyThe money has arrived. Only a successful payment can be refunded.
FailedThe payment did not go through · under the state you will see the reason (insufficient balance, for example).
CancelledThe transaction was cancelled.
Unknown stateAn unusual transaction state · get in touch with support if needed.
