A bank account for receiving payments
Connecting the account you receive payments into, choosing the primary account and why the bank connection is renewed from time to time.
For payments to reach you, you connect a bank account in Mo.one through PSD2. From the connected accounts you choose the „Primary account“, which is the default for receiving and sending payments. You can also assign a different account to a PayPoint.
- 1Connect a bank accountIn the „Bank accounts“ section you tap „Connect a bank account“ and choose your bank. We redirect you to the bank for confirmation.
- 2Choose the primary accountIn the list you select the one you want to receive payments into primarily in the „Primary account“ field.
- 3Assign an account to a PayPointWhen creating a PayPoint you choose the bank account that payments from that place should be credited to.
Why the bank connection is renewed
Consent with the bank under PSD2 has limited validity (typically around 90 days) and after a while the bank requires it to be confirmed again. When it expires, Mo.one cannot initiate payments until you renew the connection through „Renew payments“ in your banking app.
