The new identity · from Tuesday 15 Sep 2026

One account.
All your roles.

From 15 September everyone in Mo.one has one identity: their personal account. The roles of merchant, hunter or employee are added to it and switched with a single tap. Here is what changes, who it affects and what to do after your first sign-in.

01 · What changes

One identity instead of several accounts.

Until now a merchant, a hunter and a customer each had a separate account with its own sign-in. From now on the personal account is the base and roles are part of it.

ONE IDENTITY

The personal account is the base

Your sign-in, identity verification and bank accounts all belong to one identity. You sign in with one e-mail and password no matter which role you are working in.

ROLES INSTEAD OF ACCOUNTS

You switch with a single tap

Merchant, hunter, employee. Each role has its own overview, transactions and settings. You switch it by tapping the profile circle at the top left, without signing out.

ADDING A ROLE

No new registration

Do you want to take payments in your business or register merchants as a hunter alongside your personal account? You add the role right in the app with a short guide.

02 · Who it affects

Four situations, four answers.

PERSONAL ACCOUNT

You do nothing

Do you only have a personal account and pay with Mo.one? The change happens automatically. You sign in as before and everything stays where it is.

MERCHANT

You link your account

At your first sign-in after 15 September the app will ask you to link with your personal account. It takes a minute. After that you send access to your staff again.

Step by step
HUNTER

You link your account

The same step as for a merchant. After linking, check your referral link in the app, it may change.

Step by step
EMPLOYEE

You wait for new access

Existing employee sign-ins end on 15 September. You set up a personal account and the merchant sends you access again in the app.

What to do
03 · The steps for merchants and hunters

What happens after your first sign-in.

You sign in with the same e-mail and password as before. Before the app lets you through, you link your merchant or hunter account with your personal account. The steps cannot be skipped, but nothing can go wrong either.

STEP 1

You choose how to link

After signing in you will see the Link account screen. It offers two paths and it only depends on whether you already have a personal account in Mo.one.

  • I already have a personal account · if you also pay with Mo.one, choose this option.
  • Create a new identity from this account · if you have no personal account, it is created from the current one.

In the app the personal account is still called „Customer account“. It is the same thing.

STEP 2A · I HAVE A PERSONAL ACCOUNT

You enter the sign-in for your personal account

You fill in the e-mail and password of your personal account and confirm. Your merchant or hunter role is added to it with everything that belongs to it: transactions, locations, settlement statements, licence.

From that moment you sign in with the e-mail of your personal account. The original merchant or hunter sign-in stops working and the app will remind you of that when you try it.

STEP 2B · I HAVE NO PERSONAL ACCOUNT

You create an identity from this account

One tap creates the personal account and your role is added to it. The e-mail and password stay the same.

  • If you have not been through identity verification yet, the app will guide you through it. Without it you cannot add further roles.
  • For a company (s.r.o., a.s.) you choose which of the directors or board members will own the identity.

STEP 3

Done. You switch roles in your profile

Tap the profile circle at the top left. You will see all your roles and switch between them with a single tap. The personal account, the merchant and the hunter each have their own overview and transactions.

The Create role button adds another one, for example a hunter role alongside a merchant account.

04 · A merchant's staff

Staff get their access again.

Employee sign-ins used to be separate accounts. From now on an employee is a person with their own personal account, to whom the merchant adds a role. That is why existing employee sign-ins end on the morning of 15 September and need to be renewed.

1 · EMPLOYEE

They have a personal account

If the employee has no personal account in Mo.one, they set one up at app.mo.one as an ordinary customer. An e-mail and a password are enough.

2 · MERCHANT

They send access again

Once you have linked your own account, open Employees. For each person check that the e-mail matches their personal account and tap Send access. Employee records stay, they only wait for new access.

3 · EMPLOYEE

They accept the invitation in the app

The invitation arrives right in the app under their personal account. Once they accept it, the employee role appears in their profile and they can take payments as before.

We recommend merchants with staff do these steps on the morning of 15 September, so their staff can take payments without a break.

05 · A new option

You add a role with no new registration.

A customer who starts a business, or a merchant who wants to register other merchants as a hunter, no longer sets up a new account. In the profile they tap Create role, choose Hunter or Merchant and go through a short guide. They do not fill in again what Mo.one already knows.

A verified personal account is the condition. If you have not been through identity verification yet, the app will guide you through it first.

Referral links from hunters and merchants keep working. A new person sets up a personal account through them and adds a role right after.

Why we do it

One identity is the base for everything else.

One sign-in to all Mo.one services and readiness for more countries.

From 15 September the app is ready to work in more countries and currencies. Czechia stays as it is, Slovakia is in preparation. One identity also means the same sign-in can follow you in Mo.one Hub, at a hunter and in everything that comes next. What we are planning is openly in our plan.

06 · Frequently asked

What you ask about.

I have a personal account and a merchant account on different e-mails. Which one stays?
The personal account stays. When linking you enter its e-mail and password and the merchant role is added to it. You will no longer sign in with the original merchant e-mail, the app will remind you which e-mail is the main one instead.
Will I lose transactions, locations or my licence?
No. Linking moves the whole role including history, locations, settlement statements, bank accounts and the licence. The only thing that changes is what you sign in with.
Can I put the linking off?
Put it off yes, get around it no. Until you link the account, the app will not let you further and you cannot take payments or change anything. The linking itself takes a minute, we recommend doing it at your first sign-in.
I am a sole trader with a merchant account on my business ID. What happens?
You choose Create a new identity from this account. Your personal account is created and the business on your business ID stays as the merchant role. If you already have a personal account, choose linking.
We are a company and several people sign in with one login. What now?
One person, the statutory representative, links or creates the company account. They send access to the others as employees, each under their own personal account. Shared sign-ins end with that, everyone has their own.
I did not finish my merchant or hunter registration. Can I continue?
Registrations left unfinished before 15 September do not carry over into the new model. Write to us or contact your hunter and we will help you start again. The referral link you came through stays valid.
I am a hunter. Will my referral link change?
It may. The link is now tied to your hunter role, not to your sign-in. After linking, open it in the app and use the current one. Links you have already sent out keep working.
I use Mo.one Hub or hunter.mo.one. Does anything change there?
On Tuesday 15 September, no. The change affects the app.mo.one application. Hub and the hunter zone have their own sign-in, which this change does not touch. One identity is a step towards the same sign-in following you everywhere in time.
